Elder and Deacons

The Church is led by a small team comprising one elder and four Deacons. You can find out a bit more about us below.

Bob Banton - Elder

Bob is an ex children's nurse and university lecturer before training for ministry. Currently he provides general oversight of the church and leads worship and preaching.

Val Banton - Deacon

Val currently works as a bookkeeper for a charity based in Wavertree and is our treasurer.

Brenda Hawkins - Deacon

Brenda is a retired NHS administrator and currently is responsible for co-ordinating our pastoral care.

Richard Spreckley - Deacon

Richard is a retired postman. Now he provides love, care and encouragement to the church family as they walk with God.

Pauline Williams - Deacon

Pauline is a retired Early Years practitioner specialising in children with special needs. Currently she co-ordinates the children's work in the fellowship.
