Hello and Welcome

Page Moss Lane Baptist Church has been part of this community since 1938, when a small group of believers from Richmond Baptist Church in Liverpool longed for a local place to worship. Over the years, our church family has grown and changed—new buildings, new leaders, new opportunities—but one thing has always stayed the same: our desire to love God and serve our community.

Today, we’re a growing, family-friendly church with a big vision to live out our faith in practical and joyful ways. We hope these pages give you a glimpse of who we are—but honestly, the best way to get to know us is to come and see for yourself. You’d be so welcome!

At PML, family really matters. For us, church isn’t just a building—it’s people. We are a family of believers committed to Christ, to each other, and to serving God in the world.

We believe everyone has a part to play. There’s no hierarchy here that places some people “above” others. Instead, we all share equal value and dignity as members of God’s family. Of course, not everyone has the same role—just as in any family! Like other Baptist churches, we appoint leaders with particular responsibilities for teaching, preaching, pastoral care, and other areas of church life. At PML, that means we have an Elder and a team of Deacons who help guide and support the church. But ultimately, the authority of the church rests with all its members, who regularly gather to make decisions together about our shared life and mission.
