Welcome to Page Moss Lane Baptist Church. Here you will find some information to help you if you are planning a visit.
How might I get there?
The Church is situated on Page Moss Lane, Liverpool L14 OLX. We are just across the road from Moss View Care Home. You really cannot miss us, we are the one with a bright yellow Lamb Banana in the grounds. We are on the Arriva 8, 9 and 15 Bus routes and Roby Train Station is a short walk away.
Do you have any parking spaces?
We have a small enclosed car park and space for parking on the pavement just outside the Church. There is also some space for on the road parking close to the Church. However, there is a bus stop just outside the Church, so best keep that clear!
How accessible is the building?
The Church is easily accessible with a door from the car park into the main church meeting area. We also have ramp access to our Bistro Cafe area and main Hall. If you need easy access parking please let us know in advance so we can save you a space close to the door.
We have a Loop system for those who have hearing devices.
We have a fully accessible toilet if you should need it.
What can I expect if I come to a Sunday Service?
We are a relatively small family Church and we believe we offer a warm and friendly welcome to all who come. We will have someone on the door to welcome you, and to show you to a seat. If you have any questions, please do ask them.
The service itself will contain plenty of sung worship, which comprises both good old standards and the newer contemporary worship songs. There will be prayers and the reading of scripture along with a sermon. One the first Sunday of the month we have a communion service, to which all are welcome. On the second Sunday of the month we have an All Age service when the whole Church, young and old, are together to learn and worship.
After the service there is an opportunity for some refreshments in the Bistro area. This is a time to meet folks and have a chat. You will be most welcome to join us.
Do you take up a collection?
No we don't take a collection during the service. There is a box on the wall towards the back of the Church for folks to pop their gifts into if they should wish to. Please be under no pressure to give.
